Questions
What must a commercial invoice include?
The seller and buyer, invoice number and date, a clear description of each item with its HS code, country of origin, quantity and value, the currency, the Incoterms rule, weights and number of packages, and a signed declaration.
Who signs the commercial invoice?
The exporter or seller, or someone authorised to sign for them.
Do the values have to match the customs form?
Yes. The descriptions, values and HS codes on the customs declaration should match the commercial invoice exactly.
